Focus on Your Lane: You Can’t Steward What You Compare

Comparison is subtle, but it is one of the most spiritually destructive habits we can develop. It convinces you that your journey is too slow, your gifts are too small, your progress is too invisible, and your calling is not enough.

But comparison blinds you to what God is doing in your life.

God customizes blessings. What He gives you is tailored to your story, your purpose, your assignment, and your capacity. You were not meant to run at someone else’s pace.

When Jesus taught the Parable of the Talents, each servant received different amounts, but all were expected to be faithful. The one who failed wasn’t the one with the least — it was the one who hid his gift.

Comparison leads to:

• insecurity

• paralysis

• excuses

• hiding

• disobedience

God doesn’t ask you to match someone else’s calling. He asks you to steward your portion with excellence, joy, and confidence.

Stay in your lane.

Honor your journey.
