Hating Sin Until It changes You
Share
The closer you walk with God, the more you’ll begin to hate the things that break His heart. Conviction is not condemnation—it’s grace. It’s God’s gentle way of saying, “I love you too much to let you stay stuck.”
Change doesn’t happen because we fear punishment; it happens because we fall in love with the One who forgives us. When your love for Him grows deeper, your tolerance for sin decreases.
📖 “Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within me.” — Psalm 51:10
Transformation starts when you stop making excuses for what hurts your soul.
Conviction is God’s mercy—it’s His way of saying, “You are worth more than this.”
Reflection Prompt:
What habits or temptations are you asking God to help you walk away from?
Prayer:
Lord, cleanse my heart and renew my mind. Help me hate what keeps me from You and love what brings me closer. Amen.
