Intimacy, Romance and Purity
Share
It’s time to reclaim conversations about love and intimacy with holiness. God designed love, connection, and romance—but within His boundaries, they flourish instead of fade.
True intimacy begins long before the physical; it starts in the spirit. It’s found in trust, honor, and prayer. For the Diary of a Healing Virtuous Woman community, this means encouraging women to view purity not as punishment, but as divine protection. For Get Them Home, it means teaching that healthy relationships must be built on mutual respect, purpose, and God’s design—not the world’s imitation of it. When love honors God, He blesses it abundantly.
Reflection & Challenge for the Week
This week, let’s challenge ourselves to:
• Love without condition.
• Forgive without hesitation.
• Serve without expectation.
• Rest without guilt.
Ask God to redefine your understanding of love—from how you speak to yourself, to how you serve your neighbor, to how you honor your relationships. Because when we love right, we live right.
Prayer:
Father, thank You for being the source of real love. Teach us to love as You love—purely, patiently, and purposefully. Heal every place in our hearts that has confused pain with affection, and help us rebuild our lives and our communities through Your divine example. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
