What’s in Your Hands? Using What God Already Gave You

What’s in Your Hands? Using What God Already Gave You

Many of us pray for God to open doors, expand opportunities, and send increase. But sometimes God doesn’t respond by giving us more — He responds by showing us what we already have.

When God called Moses, Moses felt unqualified, insecure, and unequipped. He asked God how he could possibly walk in such a calling. God didn’t give him new tools. He didn’t hand him resources. He didn’t give him external validation.

God simply asked:

What is that in your hand?”

This question is both gentle and powerful.

It means:

Use what you already have.

Start with what’s available.

Move with what’s within reach.

Trust that God can multiply the ordinary.

We often underestimate what’s in our hands because it doesn’t look flashy, impressive, or extraordinary. But God delights in using the simple to create the supernatural.

What’s in your hands?

A story

A talent

A skill

A voice

A hobby

A connection

A passion

A small idea

A lesson you learned through pain

A perspective that others need

You don’t need a new blessing — you need new eyes. The seed God will use for increase is often already in your possession. The multiplication comes after obedience, not before.

Start where you are.

Use what God gave you.

And trust that the God who called you will equip you.
